The conference aims at providing a condensed course on current topics in mathematical image processing held by locally as well as internationally renowned scientists in the field. The program will span two weeks: the first week is devoted to analytical and approximation-theoretic aspects of image processing; the second week focuses on algorithmic and computational aspects as well as Bayesian methods and their practical realization.
